I think Citrus Lane is officially out of its funk. Yes, they did include two brands that they include in the boxes almost every month, but they also included new amazing brands. The value of this month’s box was also great. We got a box for a 2.5 year old girl, and this month there was a lot of variation between the boys’ boxes and the girls’ boxes and the age ranges. I think they all looked fabulous.
I had my daughter open the box at the table while I was making dinner, so I knew she was happy when she started squealing. She is a major purse girl, and she was so excited to see an American Bear Company purple poodle purse ($12). She has a couple American Bear Company purses, but she did not have this one yet. She is also enthralled by the Charley Harper ABC book ($9.95). Her biggest complaint is that it does not fit in the purse.
After pulling those two items out she moved onto playing with them, so I walked over to read her the book and look at the rest of the items. I agree with her assessment that they are not as exciting. There is a tube of purple Julep nail polish. I am sure someone will love this, but I am not a huge fan. There is also a Happy Family Super Toddler Bar ($1.00). She really likes these, so I popped it in her lunch the next day. I am not a huge fan of all the sugar, but she is a pretty picky eater. The last item is a container of Episencial Playful Wash. This is what I use for shampoo, so I was happy to see it even though it is a repeat brand.
